What We Do
Blackbase Group is a Dutch holding company established in 2021 and headquartered in Zwolle, The Netherlands with a core specialty in building, acquiring and scaling companies. We are diversifying through the following activities.
We started by pioneering and building bootstrapped companies like Blue Shark and we will never stop doing it, because entrepreneurship is our DNA.
We are always open for new opportunities by adding problem solving, fast growing and profitable companies to our portfolio through an acquisition.
We’re planning to invest our company profits into other companies, real estate, crypto and stocks through our investment vehicle, Blackbase Investments.

Our roots are in eCommerce, so we never stop. 80% of our client roster are eCommerce companies and we continue by doing it ourselfs through various brands.

All companies start with an idea that comes to our mind through extensive market research methods.
Product Market Fit
We'd like to validate a new idea as quickly as humanly possible, even before our development phase.
Development
If we think we have Product Market Fit, we'll arrange a team to develop the first concept of the idea.
Acquisition
First goal is to get traction, ASAP. We'll launch ads, deploy sales reps and structure a team from day 1.
Operations
The operating phase starts by hiring an operator who overseas the day-to-day operations.

Not to cut costs, but so we are able to enlarge our recruitment area and to live up with our modern society and offering a great benefit to our employees. We have an office, but we use that office as a hub for people to connect, socialize and work together when they want to.
Because we are building bootstrapped companies without acquiring capital or selling partial ownerhsip to PE firms we have to focus on profit first, so we can invest in our companies, the teams and new concepts to turbocharge our growth.
We believe in a new way of entrepreneurship without heavy, disfunctional teams. The core priority of our management is to build lean teams inside our portfolio who are able to run and operate companies on their own.
